Description
PRO TREE 5 BRAKE KIT, INSTANT REACTION W/REV LOCK OUT SAFETY FEATURE, ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE REGULATOR (STD. PATTERN)
The Coan Racing COA‑12023 Pro Tree 5 Brake Valve Body Kit is a professional-grade performance upgrade for GM Powerglide transmissions, built for racers who demand instant engagement and precise control. This kit features an integrated trans-brake designed specifically for “pro tree” launch setups, delivering instant reaction times and reliable “reverse lockout” safety to prevent unintended reverse engagement during high-pressure launches.
Equipped with an adjustable pressure regulator pre-set to around 235–240 psi, and tunable between 185 and 290 psi, the COA‑12023 allows builders to tailor braking pressure to exact performance needs, ensuring consistent and controlled transitions at the starting line.
The kit includes all essential hardware: trans-brake valve, springs, solenoid, reverse lockout springs, manual valve assembly, block-off plate, and gaskets, providing a comprehensive, bolt-in solution that delivers race-ready functionality and OEM-style fitment.
Designed and manufactured in the USA since 1976, this valve body kit offers a complete, reliable trans-brake upgrade to elevate both street-driven Powerglide setups and competition-level drag machines.
